TV Studio Turkmenistan
Challenge
TV recordings are a challenge all by themselves – everything
has to be just right. And the perfect performance requires the
perfect setting. It's about more than the technical challenge of
relaying images and sound at near instant speeds – the studio
setting needs to capture viewers' attention. It has to be lively,
dynamic and impressive. The studio needs to provide an interesting,
modern and colourful setting for everything that it will present. This
was our challenge. We needed to provide broadcast picture quality in
a rental setup with stands and rigging bars that would allow the creation
of various studio arrangements – all within a very short production and
delivery timeframe.
Solution
Together with Sony Russia, we delivered three portable, flexible and
integrable S[quadrat] SI [4SMD] rental displays each measuring 4 m²
background screens for studio setups at the TV studio in Ashgabat.
These could be modularly stacked, moved and manipulated in just
about any way imaginable, allowing flexible design with minimal
effort. Providing the perfect backdrop for every scene.
