Telekom Bridge - Bonn
Challenge
We were given the task of fusing the functional with the aesthetic for
the Telekom bridge in Bonn. To achieve the right effect, we used LED
fascia displays to give the structure a really eye-catching effect. In this
respect, the curving shape of the bridge certainly posed a real challenge
to executing our plans.
Solution
We can do curves. The evidence is there for all to see in Bonn. We were
able to light up the curving Telekom bridge by developing special LED
display modules. We were able to successfully realise the concepts of
the Lichtkunst Licht AG designers and plans of architects at Schlaich
Bergermann und Partner. It is also worth noting that the entire project
was implemented exclusively using S[quadrat] products.
