Aixtron SE – Herzogenrath
Challenge
Aixtron SE, the largest manufacturer of machines for LED production,
approached us about conceiving an information display for the company's
reception area. The challenge in this case was to create a display which
was particularly slimline.
Solution
In July 2010, we integrated an 80% slimmer screen into the showroom of
Aixtron SE. We moved the power supply for the screen into the adjoining
space. As a result, only the magnetic pixel maps are visible. These pixel
maps can be easily serviced too, as they can be conveniently detached
from the front at any time. We used Plexiglas GS Satinice Snow WH10 DC
for the frame of the system.
